Youth Support Hub自成立以来，活跃于多伦多各个义工活动上，得到了很多机构的好评。很多机构有活动都直接联系我们，希望我们帮助招募志愿者。这不，一个复活节长周末非常不错的volunteer opportunity找上门来 - Easter Parade！这个活动需要30名志愿者，感兴趣的同学抓紧申请啊！
Easter，中文复活节，是基督教及很多西方国家的重要节日，纪念耶稣基督死后复活的神迹。每年复活节都有许许多多的庆典活动。成立于1935年的、历史悠久的社区服务机构Toronto Beaches Lions Club将于4月16日在downtown Toronto举办年度大型parade。先通过一组图片体验往年parade的风采。
如果你感兴趣在这个super fun的活动上做volunteer，请仔细阅读下面的信息。
1. Parade是4月16日下午2点开始，但是志愿者需要1点就到达。大约4、5点结束。
2. Parade的路线请参看下面的地图：
志愿者可以乘坐TTC达到parade起始点集合。先乘坐地铁至Queen站，然后转乘501 streetcar Eastbound，坐到Neville Park下车。注意，一定要坐Eastbound的车。如果坐Westbound就是反方向了！另外，志愿者一定要在1点之前达到。因为1点之后会封路，到时候就没有公交了！
3. 最低年龄要求：14岁。
4. Volunteer职位包括：
1）Marshal - 负责看护parade时的路线，不要让群众（尤其是小朋友）越线进入parade场地；
2）Banner carrier - 负责手持各类横幅，加入到parade中；
3）Chocolate distributor - 负责给群众（尤其是小朋友）发放巧克力。适合年龄偏低的志愿者。
5. 每名志愿者会得到volunteer tshirt一件。
6. 如果你需要volunteer hour，请自备community service hour表格。

Youth Support Hub has been approached and contacted by the Toronto Beaches Lions Club - a community-serving organization since 1935 - to recruit 30 volunteers for its annual Easter Parade on Sunday, April 16th, from 1PM to 5PM. If you wish to participate in this super fun event and get valuable volunteer experiences, please read on!
First, please see map below for the parade route:
Volunteers need to meet at the start point by 1PM. You can get there fairly easily by TTC. Take subway to Queen station, and from there, take the 501 Eastbound streetcar to Neville Park. Make sure you DO NOT get on the Westbound streetcar. And please arrive at 1PM because there will be a road closure after that time.
The minimum age required for this volunteer opportunity is 14. There are three positions to choose from:
1. Marshal - maintain parade route and make sure no one, especially children, crosses the line and gets into the parade.
2. Banner carrier - Carry banners and join the actual parade.
3. Chocolate distributor - give out chocolate to the crowd, especially children. Suitable for younger volunteers.
Each volunteer will get a volunteer tshirt. And if you need volunteer hours, please bring your own community services hours form.
