6th June English oral learning summary

Sheldon had nothing better to do but going to Howard's lab to pay him a visit.

He's always thought that engineering is like a noble semiskilled laborer who execute the vision of those who think and dream. Which means he kind of looks down people who major in engineering.

He asked what Howard was busy for. Howard said he was making a small payload support structure for European science experimental package that is going on for the next space shuttle. 

semiskilled: people who has been trained for some skills to do work but not good enough to do the professional ones.

engineering: a subject of science for building engines or machine parts.

noble: with good moral means.

structure: a work that is well organized.

experimental: a new, fresh ideas that might be modified if it is not good enough.

payload: the amount of weight of things or people that the aircraft or spacecraft is capable of carrying in maximum.
