Genesis

1

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

起初神创造天地。地是空虚混沌，渊面黑暗，神的灵运行在水面上。

And God said,"Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day" , and the darkness he called "night". And there was evening, and there was morning——the first day.

神说：“要有光。”于是就有了光。神看到光是好的，就把光和暗分开了。神称光为昼，暗为夜。有了晚上和早晨，这是第一天。

And God said,"Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. God called the expanse "sky",And there was evening,and there was morning-the second day.

神说：“诸水之间要有空气，讲水分为上下。”神就创造出空气，将空气以下的水、空气以上的水分开了。事就这样成了。神称空气为天，有了晚上和早晨，这是第二天。
