Apodization

去脚化或者变迹,图像处理中用于去除图像中的由于光的衍射和干涉出现的一些次高峰。或者改变一个数学函数的图像,比如下图:

Airy disk就是艾里斑,就是小孔衍射产生的一个个圆环。去脚化之后就可以去除周围的次高峰,

 Since side lobes of the Airy disk are responsible for degrading the image, techniques for suppressing them are utilized. In case the imaging beam has Gaussian distribution, when the truncation ratio (the ratio of the diameter of the Gaussian beam to the diameter of the truncating aperture) is set to 1, the side-lobes become negligible and the beam profile becomes purely Gaussian.[2] The measured beam profile[3] of such imaging system is shown and compared to the modeled beam profile[4] in the Figure on the right.
