打招呼：

不要用老套的"How are you ?/ What do you do?"等过时表达，取而代之：

Hello/Hi

How 's it going?还好吗？

How are you doing?

How is/How's/How are?...怎么样？

How is everything?

How's life?

How's your family?家庭

How's your job?

How are your parents?

How are your famiy?家人

回复：

I'm doing great.我很好

They'are doing great.

Pretty good.挺好的

 

花式搭讪：

Wow I really love your coat/shoes/hairstyle/skirt...

Wow,that's a really cool phone/jacket/camera...

Excuse me,I just heard you speaking Chinese,you're pretty good.

Excuse me,is this seat taken?/is anyone sitting here?位子有人坐吗？

This place is pretty cool. Do you come here often?

Do you need a hand? 需要帮忙吗？

 

自我介绍：

Hi ,Nice to meet you,I'M Chris!

I'm Chris.

My name id Chris.

 正式场合：Please alow me to introduce myself. I'm Chris.

如何回应对方的自我介绍：

I've heard a lot of things about you.久仰大名

Chris has told me all about you.Chris经常跟我提起你。

 

介绍朋友：

I‘d like you to meet a friend of mine.

Let me introduce you to my friend Li Ning.

This is LiNing.LiNing,Chris.

 

婉转问对方名字：

Excuse me, but I don'tthink I know your name.

I'm so sorry.Could you tell me your name again?

It's a pleasure to meet you.

I don't believe we have met. instead of "May I know your name?"

You looks so young,how do you keep your shape? instead of "How old are you?"

 

"Nice to meet you"之后询问：

Sohave you lived here long?

Have you worked here long?

Do you live around here?

Do you come here often?

 

谈论职业：

So ,what do you do,if you don't mind me asking?

So what exactly is it that you do?

So what do you do for a living?

Can I ask you  what you do?
