Waves 10 win10 如何卸载干净 / 安装 / 如何处理waves mixer application installation failed / 改变默认安装路径

首先卸载干净

这个很多教程，我做了这样的几步，可能比教程多一些，但是可能会更加保险

1. 如果在系统的卸载软件界面当中有相关内容，首先删除

2. Programs Files(x86) 当中的相关文件全部删除

3. Program Data 全部删除

4. win + R 运行 %appdata% ，相关内容全部删除 （ Roaming）

5. C:\Users\Public 以及你所对应的用户文件夹当中waves 相关内容全部删除

6. 注册表

      如何干干净净地卸载第三方软件

   2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
      HKEY_USERS.DEFAULT\Software

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node

      这些内容都检查一遍

更新一下软件安装包（如果是压缩包重新解压一下）

因为有可能保留了一些Cache

重新安装

这里有一个小贴士

我们都会发现这个软件安装到了C 盘

但是在win10 的设置当中可以改变文件的默认安装位置

按照上面的方法设置之后

waves 会安装在 E 盘

但是！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！

会有一个很扎心的错误

waves mixer application installation failed！

其实安装并没有失败

这一步非常关键：安装驱动

如果改变了安装路径的话，这里需要在 E:\ Program Files(x86) 里面寻找Driver 的安装文件

SoundGrid Studio

By default, the SoundGrid Studio application is set to “Load from last session.” On launch it will try to load the CurrentSGStudio.emo file.

If SoundGrid Studio tries to load a corrupt file, it will fail to initialize.

Refresh the loaded session

1. Quit all applications.

2. Go to

   Windows

   C:\Users\Public\Waves Audio\eMotion\Sessions

   Delete the following files:

   • CurrentSGStudio.emo
   • CurrentSGStudio.emo-journal

3. Launch SoundGrid Studio and see whether the issue is resolved.

If the issue persists, proceed to the section titled “Re-install SoundGrid Driver” below.

Re-install SoundGrid Driver（这一步很重要）

Windows

1. Quit all host applications.
2. Press the [Win key], type Programs and Features and hit Enter.
3. Uninstall the Waves SoundGrid Driver.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\SoundGrid\Utilities and run the Waves SoundGrid Driver Setup.
6. Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the installation process.
7. Restart your computer.
8. Launch your Waves host application and see whether the issue persists.

如果成功，别忘了注册，重新启动之后就应该可以了

启动宿主，更新插件即可（默认在 C:\Program Files\VSTPlugIns ）
