Vocabulary

注意：

1. 英国的准确说法是The UK/Britain。
2. 一般国家人名是以n结尾的，复数一般是后面+s
   e.g.
   German - Germans

Sentences

重点讲解：

1. Good morning/afternoon/evening! = Morning/Afternoon/Evening!
2. in the morning/afternoon/evening
3. at noon/night/dawn
4. This is + 姓名（原则：“先长后幼”，“先贵后轻”）
5. 除了sir和madam，称呼都不可单独使用。
6. new—news(U. 不可数名称)—a piece of news/ two pieces of news
7. 国家名：名词，大写首字母；通常来讲，国家专有名词前不加冠词the。

有特例，由普通名词构成的专有名词就要加冠词
e.g.
the UK
the US

8. 国籍名：名词：～人/～语；形容词：～人的/～语的/～（国家）的；

表示国籍时，名词前面不加冠词。

11. 问国籍（特殊疑问句）
    e.g.
    What nationality are you? I am …
What is your nationality? I am…/ My nationality is…

国家和国籍可以互相提问和回答的

12. too：adv.
    --“也、又、还”，用于肯定句或一般疑问句中。
    e.g.
    Do you like playing the guitar, too?
    --“太、过度”，放在句中。
    e.g.
    You put too many books on the shelf. / You ate too much.
    --too...to...：太...不能...

13. 更正式的见面语：How do you do? ---How do you do?

Grammar

1. 不定冠词：a/an，仅用在单数可数名词前，表示“一”的概念，但不强调数目，表示不特定，泛指。
   e.g.
   I am a large.

元音音素前用an，辅音音素前用a

2. 定冠词：the，表示名词为特定者，可用在可数名词的单复数及不可数名词前。

4. 26个英文字母

一个英文字母在不同单词中的音素是不同的，比如U。

5. 不定冠词的功能
   表示一类事物或人中的任意一个（泛指），有时可不必翻译a/an
   e.g.
   Please bring me a dictionary.
There is a cute bird over there.
It is an honor for me to be here.

6. 可数名词的复数形式也可以泛指一类事物或人，需结合上下文语境。
   e.g.
   A steel worker makes steel. = Steel workers make steel.

课后在群中读出上述国家名及对应的国籍名，前国家名后国籍名

加上相应的不定冠词

jeans ----- jeans是复数，不能加不定冠词

注意：
university和European country虽然是以元音字母开头的，但是读音却是以辅音开头的，所以要用a，不能用an。
