Sonnet 8: O me! O You! O Life! O Death!

In tears of joy of others we are born.

In drops of dolor, o’er our death they yearn.

For what we fear, since we have none forlorn?

We came from void to which we shall return.

Fear we the parting pain of th’world we’ve known?

Fear we the journey of th’adventure new?

Fear we our souls may perish, thus me moan?

Fear we our choices made start not anew?

What fear I most is not the pending doom

as life to th’endless nights was but a flash.

I fear ere I walk past the veil of gloom,

my fervent soul will have been burnt to ash.

My love, inhume my heart when I’m alive

lest hands of the Experience it may rive.
