Should one judge a person by external appearances?

觀點：it's not reliable to judge a person by the first glance. 第一眼并不可靠

論證 1. Firstly, appearance doesn't represent someone's all.  The information of a person you can get from a glance is very limited. You can't tell many things from the appearance, such as the past , hobbies, eating habits , education background, temper and so on. 首先，外表不代表某人的一切，第一眼的信息非常有限，從外表不能告訴你：過去，愛好，飲食習慣，教育程度，脾氣等等。for example, a person with very dark skin might be from an Africa country ， but he/she might also be from another continent, likewise, his/her skin color does not reveal anything about himself/ herself' s  personality. Nevertheless, almost every person will hastily draw conclusion on all of these, as a result,  the  prior experience and stereotype prevent  each other to do further contact or true understanding between them，leading to misjudgment. 例如，黑皮肤的人可能来自非洲，可是他或她也很有可能来自其他大陆，同样，他或她的肤色不能反映他们自身的个性，然而，人们往往轻率地得出结论，结果，这些先前的经验和老套的观点阻止他们相互去做进一步的接触和了解，倒致判断失误产生。

Furthermore, appearance may trick you, lie on you. What you can get is partial . A person who dresses decently and talks sincerely doesn't imply that he's definitely innocent and kind.  其次，外表可能會欺騙，會撒慌。你看到的是片面的。一個衣穿体面，谈吐真诚的人并不意味他一定无辜善良。
