The line chart illustrates how the number of tourists visiting a Caribbean island changed in terms of two different selections from 2010 to 2017.

It can be seen from the chat that the number of total tourists visiting the Caribbean island increased all the time from 2010 to 2017. It had a slight growth from 2010 （1 million） to 2015 （2.75 million）and kept stable for a year until 2016, while during the period of 2016 to 2017 the proportion of total visitors increased nearly 0.75 million.

However, the tendency of the number of visitors staying on cruise ships and staying on island was a little different. From 2010 to 2011, the number of visitors staying on island did not change in 0.8 million, while the number of visitors staying on cruise ship increased about 0.25 million. From 2012 to 2015 both visitors numbers in cruise ships and island increased, the former reached into 1.5 million, The latter arrived at 1.25 million, but in 2017 the statistic of visitors on cruise ships surpassed than that on island, which was 2 million.

Overall, the number of tourists increased dramatically from 2010 to 2017.
