In the south-west of the country lies Yunnan Province, a magnificent land blend of striking landscapes and incredibly diverse cultural heritage.

no wonder I was feeling wierd......

Half of China 55 ethnic minorities call this area home.

And high up of the remote Yunling mountains lies the Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve – home to the iconic snub nosed monkey.

They are one of the China’s most exclusive elusive animals with only 2000 of them left in the wild.

I go to try finding I'm going to try and find these rare creatures that live far higher that any other monkeys on earth, on mountains of 5000 meters.

Sharing the mountainous land up there with these monkeys are the Lizu people, traditionally a mountain tribe, they are the rangers who take care these special primates.

We follow the rangers up, to climb it's quite...... You lose your breath, you suddenly realize how high up you are.

You might be hearing be albe to hear whistling through the forest, that’s some of the rangers from the reserve every morning come up here to see feed.

Oh, it was so embrassing to confuse 'feed' with 'see'~

And I have just seen my very first Yunnan snub-nosed monkey. t’s only about 2300 two to three thousand of these animals left in the whole of China.

Mr. Yu has been working in the reserve for over 20 years, he has unique bond to the monkeys and responsible for their daily sees feed.

If I had watched the video while dictating, this could not happen.
