    无意当中看到某一个博客的消息，于是顺便看看这条新闻。Alternativa 3D 7已经免费了，在官方博客可以看到，意外发现到Alternativa 3D 会参加今年的max 2010 大会，过几天就可以看到相关的内容。同时，在他博客里透露介绍可以看出， 下一代 Alternativa 3D 8 是基于新的 flash player ，也就是说等adobe max 大会公布新的 3d引擎之后的事情，半年，一年？也说不定。而3d革命性到底如何？我想一旦3d api公布之后，目前flash 3d引擎都需要重新洗牌，说不定免费的原因就在于此，也不难让人猜想Alternativa 3D 7 是否是最后的一个基于旧播放器的版本了？还是已经和adobe 连婚了。但是，需要用到新的3d api 说不定又要花费漫长的等待。

First, Alternativa 3D 7 is free now. Anyone can use it in his own project without any charges. However, in case the technology is used in commercial project it is necessary to place the link to its developer — Alternativa company. Second, Alternativa works on Alternativa 3D 8 engine based on new Flash player with the next generation 3D API’s. It’s all what is possible to say about it before Adobe MAX. Till new Flash player is in a work-in-progress stage and barely be ready earlier then in a year we offer to use A3D 7. More than likely it’ll be possible to port projects based on the seventh version to A3D 8.

Third, Alternativa already prepares its own project on A3D 8 and participates as a technical partner in another one project based on A3D 8.

And, finally, fourth, Alternativa prepares presentation at Adobe MAX this year. We have a booth and sponsorship like IBM and Freescale, for example. You can check out our reports at MAX on the 27th of October. We’ll start at 5:00 pm in area 515B (registration).
