MAUI Installation on Redhat Linux EL 5.4

Versions

• OS: RHEL 5.4
• Torque: 2.5.5
• MAUI: 3.2.6p21

Install MAUI on Server

• decompress

[root@server ~]tar -zxvf maui-3.2.6p21.tar.gz
[root@server ~]cd maui-3.2.6p21 

• configure

[root@server maui-3.2.6p21]./configure --prefix=/opt/maui-3.2.6p21

• install

[root@server maui-3.2.6p21]make
[root@server maui-3.2.6p21]make install

Configure MAUI

1. modify /usr/local/maui/maui.cfg as  http://wenku.baidu.com/view/06d7cbce0508763231121265.html?from=related&hasrec=1

Launch MAUI

• kill default scheduler

[root@server ~]killall pbs_sched

• launch MAUI

[root@server ~]/opt/maui-3.2.6p21/sbin/./maui

Check MAUI

• look up queue state

[root@server ~]/opt/maui-3.2.6p21/bin/showq
