0927-The difference between economics and finance?

They are very similar subjects and both of them belong to social sciences.

As far as I am concerned, economic focus more on resources, supply, and demand (production &consumption), i.e. the overall pictures than finance.

It contains micro and macroeconomics. the micro one studies the economic tendencies related to individuals while the macroeconomic is a branch of economics that studies how the aggregate economy behaves.

Teach a parrot the terms ‘supply and demand’ and you’ve got an economist.

Finance describes the management, creation, and study of money, banking, credit, investments, assets and liabilities that make up financial systems.

Finance can be divided into three categories: public (government) finance, corporate finance, and private finance.  Finance typically focuses on the study of prices, interest rates, money flows, and the financial markets.

"Buy Now and Pay Later " would be an excellent example of finance.

"Financial institutions are a pillar of civilized society, directing resources across space and time to their best uses."
