视听说：五单元:是否喜欢城市生活，喜欢哪个城市。六单元:自己的工作是什么，在哪里工作，需要出几次差，自己工作的好的地方和不好的地方。

2、精读：more often than not 经常，多半。analogy相似，比喻。handicap妨碍，使不利。get in the way妨碍。rash急躁的，鲁莽的。objective目的，目标。herd民众。valid正当的。merit优点。inappropriate恰当的。dismiss摒弃，不予考虑。unparalleled无比的。

六单元：The program has shed some light on the problems faced by the elderly in Britain。

4、语块：视听说：五单元：tire of sth 对什么厌烦。on the go 四处奔忙。commit crime犯罪。pros and cons利与弊。六单元：construction site 工地。

精读：more often than not经常多半。in reserve被留做备用。in line with 与..一致。to sb's credit值得赞扬。chances are high that很有可能。

5、精读：还好，文本没有什么难处。

　视听说：文本的难度增大

6、这几天我和我的语伴进行了一次讨论学习，我们都收获颇多，希望以后继续一起努力。

7、感受和收获：觉得英语单词有些新，可以多背点补充知识。
