things don’t necessarily happen for the best, it is possible to make the best of things that happen. Things will be ok, things will turn out fine. It may take a while until I see the benefit of it.

Appreciate:
Valuing, the act of recognizing the best in people and the world around us, affirming past and present strengths and potentials, to perceive those things that give life health, vitality, excellence to living systems.

Frist meaning: to say “Thank you”
Second meaning: to increase in value

When we appreciate the good, the good appreciates.

What appreciating does, is in essence, create a growth sipral.

How do we correct the false schema:
societal level: create good news
individual level:

Aristotle once said that fiction is more important than history, because history depicts life as it is, whereas fiction depicts life as it can and ought to be.

When we adapt, we also take things for granted.
It’s a good thing when it comes to the negatives. And it’s not such a good thing when we take life for granted.

We are grateful for something, we do not, we no longer take it for granted.

How do we cultivate gratitude? …

This course is in many ways about life appreciation.
