touch their caps to hims 表示手举到帽边向他敬礼。类似的还有give sb a pat on the back 鼓励，表扬  The football team win the first prize. They deserve a pat on the back.

不一定要用具体的动词，而用这种形象的动作来表达一个意思。

2. meeting you 和nice to see you 的区别

后者是第一次见面，前者可以是走的时候表示幸会。

3. Will you be wanting anything else, sir?

用现在进行时表示更委婉，比如： I was wondering

最委婉的是过去进行时 would you

what you like eg: He asked my taste in music.

judgement when they choose clothes,eg:He has  a good taste in clothes.

英语中，头尾放最重要的信息，通常尾更重要。
