Everywhere you can hear people swearing or using foul language. Even when learning a second language, people know how to swear before they could speak properly.
Some people think it doesn't matter because swearing can add color and emphasize to language. But other people think it's a disease and people who swear don't have class. So when the government in New Jersey decided to do something about the problem, there are two quite opposed opinions. The new law states that people who swears will face 500 dollar fine. The punishment seemed harsh to some. Some say the law infringes on their rights, but they have to admit the positive function of the law. Now, people in New Jersey have really stopped swearing so much.
