我翻译的《道德经》第六十章（1）

原文:

治大国，若烹小鲜，以道莅天下，其鬼不神。非其鬼不神，其神不伤人。非其神不伤人，圣人亦不伤人。夫两不相伤，故德交归焉。

[译文]

治理大国就好像煎烹小鱼一样。依据“道”原则治理天下，那些鬼神就没有神通了。不是那些鬼怪没有神通了，而是神通在“道”面前不愿意伤人。不仅神通不伤害人，有道的圣人也不会伤害人。这样，鬼神和有道的圣人都不伤害人，因此，就可以让人民享受到德的恩泽。

我的翻译:

Governing  a big country is like cooking a

small fish.

If you govern a country with the principle of

"Tao", the ghosts  don't have magical

power.

It is not the ghosts  who have no magic

power, but the evil spirit doesn't want to

hurt people 。

Not only does the evil spirit do harm to

others, but a Saint doesn't hurt others.

In this way, the ghosts and the saints do not

hurt people .

So people can enjoy the blessing of

"Power".
