   以上句中粗体字部分均省略了person in the world, 以免与本文中第一个句子" My best friend is the most thoughtful person in the world." 的粗体部分重复。
2. 本文中的形容词sympathetic乃不及物动词sympathize['sɪmpə'θaɪz]的衍生字，名词则为sympathy ['sɪmpəθi]。注意下列的相关用法：
