Is it a Crime to Like Something Niche?

Gamers and luxury buyers are very different. Even if you don’t play any sort of game is able to know that they are very different.

“A gamers is a hobbyist or individual that enjoys playing various types of digital or online games.” - Techopedia

“Luxury customers feel power from spending big and satisfaction from obtaining exclusive, rare, and quality products” - Crobox

I know they are very different from each other but let’s be an open minded person and think about what they have in common.

I think that both gamers and luxury buyers have in common, if the appreciate for the attention to detail, precision almost to the level of perfections. “…people are frightened of fashion and that because it scares them or it makes them feel insecure, they put it down. [people] say demeaning things about our world because they feel in some ways excluded, not part of the ‘cool group’ so as a result they just mock it” (Anna Wintour, The September Issue). Gamers: Same here

The quote by Anna Wintour is really interesting because the world today always have something to say to the minority or “not doing what the rest is doing”. This is truly a pity that one cannot enjoy doing something niche without being discussed by their peers or friends about it. Yes, you have the choice to ignore those comments or discussion but sometimes those voice is on repeat which can be really annoying. This also applies to gamers and luxury buyers, just because they are different from the majority people doesn’t mean they don’t understand what you are talking behind their backs.
