Three years ago , in order to stop to stay up late , i choose the Taiji . for the simple reasons , Taiji need to get up early which could help me to keep early hours .and Taiji class is free of charge.At that time , i had a long time vacation from my previous job.From 2016 till now ,Taiji companied with me for three years.

My Taiji story
I am not Taiji expert , because 3 years is too short and I want to share my Taiji experience to you .
Here Taiji told me three things
Most people choose to study Taiji when they had retired,however in fact ,Taiji is not easy to study .
My first Taiji teacher is Mrs Shi ,who is an lady and had practiced more than 30 years Taiji , and as the Taiji performer,she had attend the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympic .She taught us ( me and other 9 students ) study the basic Taiji class for 6 months .
And I am the youngest student of them, but I am also the one who learn worst.Age is not advantage.The other students are all older than me ,some of them are 60 , and they could quickly get what the teacher's points ,and show the right action as soon as possible ; they looks like have a large power , practice for 3 hours is no problem. and I only can stand for 40 mins and exhausted.
So Taiji told me the first thing is whatever you go,go with all your heart.
Because the small target that I had : only for early to bed ,early to rise.Compare with the other student ,who take a lot time to prepare the new class and practice more when they back home . so at the beginning,I received more cold face than hot from teacher.
After 6 month ,our teacher had move house, and she can't teacher us anymore.The Taiji team is dismissed.Only me stand for last , because the second thing I had got from Taiji : No matter how ugly it begins persistence pays off. After 6 months persist ,in your mind,you will find it becomes natural and is an easy habit to develop.
There is long time , no teacher could teach me ,and I just practice by the video. Every morning , a women one hand with sword, and other hand take the phone for reference the right action from the video.Until I met my second teacher Mrs Jin, she studied Taiji from Lideyin the famous man of Taiji .Mrs Jin also got the qualification of national referee.
and Taiji told me the third thing : opportunity is always for those who are prepared.If i give up Taiji when the team dismissed , I can't meet my second teacher Mrs Jin , and I can't learn better.
Taiji will change your body , your style ,even your mind.
Back to the beginning of the speech
Taiji is not equal to retire life, the difficult actions need your body and your mind with high demand.
One famous writer said ,the beverages he only takes coffee , tea and wine , because all of them had last more than 100 years .And as one of the quintessence of Chinese culture, Taiji started from Ming dynasty , it had more than 600 years history. And it's earliest record is from Tang dynasty ,Xuxuanping a Taoist priest who is friend of poetic genius Libai. then the next one is so famous in our movie .
Taiji source come from Ming dynasty boxing especially 32changquan of Qijiguang ,Qigong,Traditional Chinese medicine ; based on the philosophical foundation of Yin Yang and five elements theory,Taoism ,Eight-diagram . Taiji is not only a gym but also a knowledge.
Compare to Taiji ,Yoga and GYM is easy to get what your want : body shaper and it could be speed up educational program; For the Taiji learner 10 years it's too short. But you can take Taiji for your gym way till you are very old , even 100 years. I had seen the video of an 100 years old lady practice Taiji ,but seldom seem the people parties Yoga after 100 years. and Taiji could be practice regardless of when and where. you could practice only by yourself.
There are some tips for people who want to learn Taiji
Firstly : you should to find a good teacher ,it's very important . one of my friend he had pay the Taiji Class more than 10,000 RMB a year , and he learned fast and avoid injury at beginning study time.
my suggestion is your teacher should have practices Taiji more than 20 years and she/he gots the qualification of national coach license.
Secondly : Persist , Taiji is an lifelong exercise , you can't learn in short time: one day or one year is impossible.and it’s lifelong exercise also mean even if you are interrupted by something need to break for while ,one time for prepare the examination I had stopped for more one month,but I could still pick it up because the habit.
Thirdly : You should take the loose clothing ,and the Taiji shoes ,not for the good looking but only for your health and safe .Taiji focus on four word “ light ,slow,circle,symmetrical 轻慢圆匀”。It had high demand for your body , the wrong action will bring the injury.The beginner is easy to hurt their knee .
Taiji help you to established a system of deep breathing exercise, just like Mediation .Help you to practise focusing on the present,which could help you to change your percentage, change your mind and change your life.
