偶然看到一篇外国键政blog：

他从Bernie Sanders这个反川“社会主义者”说起，说道：社会主义领导人会是怎么样的呢？

别的不看，这篇小文章用到了好多个比较精确的，地道的，文学的，当然也有点难度的词，来形容这位的身材体型。

• bourgeoning, 以及源词【bourgeois】这个词读起来比较非典型，/burzh-'wa/。这是个法语词，也就是大家非常熟悉的“布尔乔亚”，“小资产阶级”。这位大哥bourgeoning belly，也就是“他那小资的肚子”，在他们国家非常特别，是不是很可爱？

• double-chins，双下巴。chin就是下巴。

portly也是“肥胖的”，更多隐喻“很有地位的胖”。它的来源于“port”“state”这种表示身份的词，原文释义中也给出了“dignified","stately"。

他喜欢吃进口的瑞士芝士，多到他的脸蛋都摇晃（swell）了。
