If Re-evaluate Workflow Rules After Field Change is enabled for a field update action, Salesforce re-evaluates all workflow rules on the object if the field update results in a change to the value of the field.

 

Record types can control which picklist values appear in a picklist field. You can also set which page layout is displayed for different users, based on Record Type, in conjunction with their Profile

 

You can't create a report or list view of pending workflow actions that are set to fire in the future. The Time Based Workflow Queue is where you can search for pending workflow actions. These actions will be removed automatically from the queue once/if they no longer meet their entry criteria.

 

The four available actions that can be associated with a workflow rule,

whether immediate or time-based are field updates,
