Senior Java developer

Job Description :
1. Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
2. Lead 2-3 developers throughout software development cycle.
3. Develop high quality IT solutions that facilitates fund administration business activities.
4. Investigate, analyze and document reported defects.
5. Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
6. Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
7. Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.

Requirement :
1. University graduate in IT or related discipline with at least 5 years experience in application development and testing.
2. Working experience in Java/J2EE technologies (Spring, hibernate, junit, log4j) is a must.
3. Strong communication skills is a must.
4. Team lead experience is preferred.
5. Knowledge in Unix (Linux/Solaris), Oracle database, Websphere and MQ would be an asset.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and accommodate changing needs arising in the life cycle of the project.
7. Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and learn.
8. Fluent in read and written English. Good command of spoken Cantonese is ideal
