四.安装

1.install the Symantec Backup Exec Management Plug-in for VMware

在vsphere client的电脑上安装BEVMPlugin.msi

 

2.Registering the Symantec Backup Exec Management Plug-in for VMware with vCenter Serve

a.架设web server

安装IIS

copy BEVMPlugin.msi 到c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\下

 

验证,出现以下则ok

 

b.Microsoft .Net version 2.0 is installed on the vCenter server

c.The following files are in the same directory as the RegisterBEVMPlugin.exe file:
  - Vim25Service2005.dll
  - Vim25Service2005.XmlSerializers.dll
  - RegisterBEVMPlugin.exe.config

d.To register the Symantec Backup Exec Management Plug-in for VMware with the vCenter Server

在cmd下执行RegisterBEVMPlugin -r -s <vCenter-ip> -n <username> -p <password> -m <msipath>

如 RegisterBEVMPlugin -r -s <vCenter Server> -n user1 -p password -m
            http://<web server>/plugin/BEVMPlugin.msi

 

五.监控

当symantec backup exec2010中的备份状况or排程可以在vsphere client 连到vcenter看到
