Totem 介绍

    Totem是 Ubuntu里自带的电影播放器，支持 DVDs，但默认情况 Totem并没有安装常见视频格式文件相应的解码器（比如 w32codecs），很多格式都不能在默认的情况下播放，这也许是 Ubuntu 在媒体播放这块一个软肋吧。

    Totem Movie Player是一套在类Unix操作系统上运行的多媒体播放器，其建基于GNOME桌面环境。其默认的多媒体引擎是GStreamer，但亦可使用Xine程式库。Totem在得到MandrakeLinux(现在称Mandriva Linux) 设为其默认的多媒体播放器后大受欢迎。
