DOMtree简介

        很早就听过大名鼎鼎的DOMTree，但一直不知道这是何物。今天查了下wiki，这里对它做个小说明。算是读书笔记吧。

       1.重点1

        The Document Object Model (DOM) is a cross-platform and language-independent convention for representing and interacting with objects in HTML, XHTML and XML documents。The public interface of a DOM is specified in its application programming interface (API)。

       即DOMtree是用来与HTML等网络文档元素交互而引入的，提供了API。

 

      2.重点2    

       Web browsers are not obligated to use the DOM in order to render an HTML document. However, the DOM is required by JavaScript scripts that wish to inspect or modify a Web page dynamically. In other words, the Document Object Model is the way JavaScript sees the browser state and the HTML page it contains.

       DOMtree不是网页浏览器必要的，而是为了jsp而做的。（如果没有jsp，可以不需要建立DOMtree也能渲染整个页面）
