Nobel Prize winner: Danny Kahneman
Prospective Hindsight also called pre-morterm:
means you look ahead and try to figure out all the things that could go wrong
Eg:
around the home, designate a place for things that are easily lost
then your things will always be there when you are looking for them
Eg:
when you are under pressure:
the pre-mortem is
is to recognize that under stress, you are not going to be at your best, and you should put systems in place
Eg:
to think about the questions you may be asked to push the conversation forward
Eg:
if you are worrying some questions about your life
you could talk with your family
To train ourselves to think about ahead
is to recognize all of us are flawed, we all are going to fail now and then,
the idea is to think ahead to what failures might be
to put systems in place that will help minimize the damage or to prevent bad things from happening in the first place
