微软技术大会上SUSE的吉祥物

<p style="text-indent: 21pt;">微软技术大会2007的唯一额外的礼品，就是SUSE的吉祥物，而且这个是同事可怜我还需要向女友交差送给我的。女友很是喜欢，但我们都不认识这是什么动物。只好向了解开源社区的同事贾请教。 </p>

<p style="text-indent: 21pt;">回过头来，正好补一下关于SuSE的知识。SuSE是Software Und System Entwicklung的缩写，这是德文，英文的意思是：Software and System Development。是基于Softlanding Linux System (SLS)和Slackware Linux发展起来的。在1994年推出第一个版本。 </p>
<p style="text-indent: 21pt;">另外，就是这个吉祥物的名字。这可费了好大的劲！后来发现，官方网站其实不是用lizard，而是使用Chameleon来特指这个小动物。因此翻译成中文叫变色龙可能更有性格。好像这个东东的名字就是叫SuSE。有大侠可以指点一下！先谢谢了。 </p>
<p style="text-indent: 21pt;">另，现在SuSE是Novell的产品，而Novell和MicroSoft在这方面签署了互操作协议。所以才会在微软技术大会上看到SuSE。 </p>
