这集的知识点是针对小朋友，小朋友都喜欢养植物或者宠物，就像小朋友喜欢过家家一样，小朋友养植物或宠物会培养孩子的爱心。
宠物可能有些家庭会排斥，但是植物却不会，几乎所有的幼儿园小学都会要求小朋友在家或在校种植一株植物，然后观察它破土发芽开花结果，小的孩子学会责任，大的孩子做实验记录，这一项可以说是小朋友们的必修课了。
种瓜得瓜种豆得豆，想要收获丰盛的果子，就要付出辛勤的劳动，最重要的是要学会等待，爱心，责任，对美好未来的期待，都在这株植物里了。
最后有一个小插曲我特别羡慕，佩奇还想种点别的植物，猪爷爷爽快的答应，但是要乔治来选择他们要种什么，这个很公平，因为上一次是佩奇选的。
佩奇高兴的同意了，但是她还是热心的建议乔治选择胡萝卜，猪爷爷没有自作主张的替乔治选择种胡萝卜，耐心的问乔治，想种什么。
乔治有自己的主见，他没有听佩奇的。所有人都尊重他的意见，没有人强迫他一定要种什么。
这在中国很难得见到，中国的父母通常以爱的名义替孩子作出许多选择，很多小孩在家里是没有话语权的，所以猪爷爷很棒！
