How we assess your application
Your application form is reviewed when you apply to the University. If you have achieved or expect to achieve the standard entry requirements we will invite you to submit a mini portfolio. The mini portfolio is assessed by Academic Reviewers who will select applicants to attend an interview. Please note that not all applicants are invited to attend interview. When you have attended your interview we will advise you of your outcome through UCAS Track.

What happens next
All application forms, personal statements and references are read and considered by the course team against the selection criteria listed in the Entry requirements and Selection Criteria sections.
Depending on the quality of your application, you may be asked to submit a number of images of your work. For this course your portfolio should show evidence of: ability to present ideas through visual communication; a level of research, experimentation and development; technical and practical abilities; and effective presentation techniques.
If the course team wish to consider your application further, you will be invited to our interview week (18th to 22nd February 2019) where the course team will look at your portfolio and ask you questions to establish your suitability for the course. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate the following at interview: an awareness of contemporary fashion and culture; an understanding of research, design, design development and product realisation; a motivation for working in the fashion contour industry; and a motivation to succeed on the course.
If you are successful at the interview stage you will be offered a place. Applicants are not guaranteed to be asked to upload work, nor are they guaranteed an interview.
Please note that if you are unable to attend, the College may not be able to re-schedule.

伦敦时装学院留学申请录取率不高，竞争激烈。面试每年都会有5-7次，直接录取。作品集要有一定水平，但更重要的是对创意过程充分展示。申请不全是由考试决定的。更重要的是你如何把综合实力展现给招生老师。这就包括文书的写作。实力再好展现不出来也不行。预科读完绝大多数学生都会进入本科学习。
预科的话可以不用提供服装草图，当然如果你有的话就更好，可以是一些设计的理念或者相关的手工作品可以体现你的设计能力。
作品集：做成PDF版本，打上水印，把学生大概申请制作过程的经历(不用太详细)做成一个个PDF版本，比较简洁明了，内容包括：学生简介;申请学校，专业;申请院校;打水印作品以及作品集。
作品集要求：作品集应体现你的探索过程和最终成品。可包含素描、绘画、素描册、色彩研究、材料调查、设计研发(2D和3D)、结构、消费者和市场消息、文本注释、设计展示页或任何形式的作品。如果有3D作品，应该拍摄照片。并在面试的时候携带实物。

Design and Technology FacilitiesIf you study an LCF fashion design and technology course such as womenswear, tailoring, contour or pattern-cutting, you will have access to facilities across our different sites.
