VMware Tool(相当于显卡驱动）的安装：

以vmware6.0为准，之前版本比如5.5无法安装vmware tools

 

本文的linux为debian linux 也适用ubuntu linux，因为后者和前者是一个linux继承者。

一般情况用root用户登录就可以了，既然是虚拟机也不用在意哪个用户。没有vm tools 需要 ctrl+alt 切换进vmware

 

(1)检查有没有安装gcc
可以通过which gcc或者whereis gcc查看。发现已安装

 

注：debian 默认带 gcc4.3 注意版本，有时需要用gcc4.1

 

(2)安装内核头文件
内核头文件默认是会安装到/usr/src目录下。ls /usr/src查看发现目录为空，即没有安装。

 

适用 uname -a 查询内核版本

3）vmware tools 在vm安装目录下 linux.iso文件，把文件释放到文件夹里。

 

vmware-install.pl是安装文件，到目录下直接运行就可以（不是双击）
