• technically it could be longer, but they didnt track games played until 1955 so thats all we have to go off of

That's how I felt about Westbrook too. Didn't miss a game in his first 5 years. Then you know how the last two years went.

It seems the wear and tear will eventually get everybody, just some sooner rather than later.

Given modern attitudes about rest and player health, I don't even think kind of resilience/consistency is possible anymore for starters.
