Some students prefer to work on class assignments by themselves. Others believe it is better to work in a group. Which do you prefer?学生应该自己学习还是在小组里面学习？
思路：自己学习好，这样可以锻炼独立的性格，由此可带来两个好处；1. 锻炼时间管理能力 2.加强自信心
Personally speaking, I believe students should work on their assignments alone. And I have two reasons.
First, study or work alone can improve work efficiency by developing strong time management ability. Once you can avoid the interruptions from people of group studies, you are able to concentrate better on your own work and save time from answering others’ problems. So you are able to save a lot of precious time and make your own schedule to get your works done quickly.
Also, completing tasks on your own within a time you planned can help boost your confidence and self belief. You believe everything is under your control and feel a sense of accomplishment on being able to fulfill more things. Then, your confidence makes you rely more on yourself, use your own judgment, make your own decision and thus become mature and independent.
TPO 25 -Task1
Students often want to get better grades in their classes. Explain what students should do in order to improve their performance in a class.学生应该如何提高自己的学习成绩？
思路：建议各位将题目有意识地向万能理由靠拢，即培养独立的学习能力和建立自信心有助于提高成绩。
I think students should learn to be independent and solve problems on their own in order to improve their grades.
First, study or work alone can improve work efficiency by developing strong time management ability. Once you can avoid the interruptions from people of group studies, you are able to concentrate better on your own work. So you can save a lot of time, and the time saved can be used to complete more tasks and you will become productive and learn more.
Also, completing tasks on your own within a time you planned can help boost your confidence and self belief. You believe everything is under your control and feel a sense of accomplish ment on being able to fulfill more things. And your confidence can reinforce your determine to achieve great academic performance.
TPO 25 -Task2
Some people do not enjoy shopping and shop only when they have a specific purchase to make. Others like to go shopping for pleasure whether or not they have something to buy. Which do you prefer and why?有人喜欢有目的的购物，而有些人逛商场只是为了消遣，不一定买什么，你喜欢哪种？
思路：上述万能理由的主旨思想是“高效”，而有目的的购物比漫无目的的逛街节省时间。 请参考下面答案。
Personally speaking, I prefer to shop only when I need to buy specific things, because I want to be self-organized and efficient when doing everything.
First, going shopping for a specific reason can save time from wondering around or window shopping.I don’t want to waste my time on shopping, but to use it in my favorite ways like hanging out with friends, doing exercises in the gym or reading. As a student, being able to manage my time is a good quality and can make me become productive and learn more.
Also, shopping for specific things makes me feel happy, because I’ve made a better use of my time.I hope this time management ability can also influence people around me and even make them to be self-organized and efficient.

Parents should be in the process of helping their children to choose a university.
Use specific reasons and details in your response.
家长是否应该帮助孩子选择大学？
思路：小孩子应该学会自立，不依赖家长。
Personally speaking, I think parents should not help their children to choose university. And children should learn to be independent.
Learning to be independent is important, because it helps build up children’s confidence.Once children could learn to complete things on their own, they start to believe everything is under their control and feel a sense of accomplishment on being to fulfill more things. Then their confidence makes them rely more on themselves, use your own judgment, make your own decision and thus become mature.
Also, being independent and confident gives them honor and respect from other people, which can further benefit their relationship with others as well as their career in the future.

思路：选择论文，因为需要独立完成，且比演讲有难度，从而锻炼独立完成一项任务的能力。
Personally speaking, doing research paper is beneficial for students, because it helps students develop time management skill and also boost their confidence.
First, doing research paper requires students to work alone and make their own schedule to get their works done on time. This experience can develop students’ strong time management skill which helps them to be self organized and raises their awareness of be efficient in order to be productive and learn more.
Also, completing a research paper on their own can boost their confidence to finish more research topics in the future. Then, their confidence makes them rely more on themselves and use their intelligence to do well on the papers. The confidence of doing research paper alone will benefit their study or work in the future.
