So, yesterday's high diamond scores were false. They were not added to today's total. I shouldn't get so excited about it. My goal in coming here and write is just that, to write! I shouldn't be distracted by anything else.

It's nice to have some friends with the same interest and purpose to come along from this website. I think that this is the best feature that this website provides. I am very grateful for this.

Speaking about the goal or purpose, I feel that I have to mention a new book that I am reading, "Life on Purpose", written by Victor Strecher.

To make the long story short for now, I just want to mention a famous research that was done by the 2009 Nobel Price winner in medicine, Elizabeth Blackburn. She and her colleagues studied the impact of life on purpose (based on surveys), and found that telomeres, which are located at the end of our chromosomes and act like the aglets (plastic caps) that keep chromosomes intact. When our telomeres shorten, which was occurred more on group of people with no purpose on life, our chromosomes are more susceptible to damage, and we are more likely to get sick, hence shorten our life. I think that explains why when people lost their purpose or hope in their life would become unhealthy or die sooner.

Therefore, having a goal or purpose on life is a very good thing! And I think I have confused my readers (if I have any) enough by now.
