对于年幼的孩子来说,直接按照书本的文字开始按部就班的讲故事,这本书是很难让他乖乖地坐着听完的。最近正好在让孩子了解一些衣服的表达,包括super simple song 里面shoes,jacket,scarf and hat,还有what to wear today中长颈鹿的穿着。而这本Pete the cat too cool for school 则带有更强的故事性。

封面上是一只萌眼黑猫,穿着点点袜和条纹袜,这个很能引起孩子的兴趣,因为孩子在穿袜子这件事情一直有自己的要求,绿色的袜子或者数字袜子。

Look,this is a cat. The cat is in blue. Do you like blue? Yes. Look at what is the cat wearing on the feet? The cat is wearing 4 socks because it has 4 feet.haha. One is red with white dots, one is purple with yellow dots, one is light green with white stripes and one is dark green.(孩子对深绿和浅绿很敏感,只喜欢深绿)。

故事正式开始,there are two shirts,yellow and blue. Which one do you like? There is a pair of red shoes? Do you like red shoes?

第三页,this is a monkey. The monkey is eating a banana.

继续,this is a teacher, he is wearing glasses.Do you like glasses? Where is mommy’s glasses?

This is a school bus. It is yellow. Do you like school bus? What is Pete wearing now? A shirt pants with red fishes.

整个过程注重的是简单的句型,孩子是否有关注和互动,一旦注意力有所离开就要找到他平时关注和喜欢的元素,比如眼睛,比如皮鞋,比如校车等。其二则是注意指读,让孩子对不懂不熟悉的内容也知道你在大致说什么。

先这么读吧,大一些再慢慢讲经典句型。

当然,最后让孩子正儿八经的搭配一套自己喜欢的衣服,完满了。
