Julia
J.G.
Like someone from a remote planet,
You landed and dressed in the purple color I have never seen anywhere else.
With a tremendous voice,
announcing your existence to the whole world.
And trembling my heart more than any rock & roll.
Tear in my eyes,
I hugged you for the first time in my life, and in yours.
First milk, first solid food, first time watching someone's poo every day.
Everything is "first" thereafter.
Learning to straighten up your neck, to roll over,
To sit, to stand and to step...
You are always the focus of my eyes whenever I am beside you.
Laughing for happiness,
Giggling for satisfaction,
Sobbing for sadness,
Wailing for anger...
I feel what you feel. I am happy when you are happy,
And I know I have to do something when you are not.
Fresh fruits, noodles, sushi and french fries.
Mosquitoes, spicy food and a long walk.
I know what you like, and I know what you hate.
I like what you like, and I hate what you hate.
Your excellence in school,
Your painting of the world in Julia's eyes,
Your playful storytelling,
And your sometime "indescribable" violin playing...
You've been the miracle of my life ever since you came, and it will ever be.
注:2018年元旦未回家,思念女儿为她作诗一首。
Take the pain in our life, and turn it into arts.
