Summary:Run

In this chapter, the author, Trevor, born in South Africa, describled his family's religious church life and his entertaining run stories with his mother to us.

There were three main churches  in South Africa, including Black church, White church and mixed church. Black church was outdoor, rough and lenghty. One of those huge, supermodern, suburban megachurches is Mixed church. A very white and wealthy but kind of monotonous that was White church. Trevor's mother was such a religious woman that he had went to these churches with his mother reluctantly every-week. Although it was a monotone day, a series of interesting running stories happened between  them, just like the relationship of Tom and Jerry.

One of these amusing stories was that Trevor was threw out of the minibus by his mother. On the ground of continuously political violence  and the Apartheid in South Africa, there were different tribes in different area. Inkathe, a predominately Zulu party, was known as warrior and militant attitude. One day, Trevor and his mother were forced to take Zulu driver's  bus to church. Then his mother jumped out of the car with napping Trevor and ran as fast as possible to escape the kill of driver, which was partly because the divergence of party.

Indeed, nobody has ran and run stories as Trevor and his mother.

Thought
