Almost 5 years ago, I was a freshman in the college. Freshmen in my college were not allowed to bring their own laptops, and Wifi was not installed in my school. However, I was one member of the student union, so some tedious work were assigned to me, such as I needed to master the Power Point and Excel. In that case, I needed to bring my laptop to dormitory. One day, I was busy doing my work by the laptop. Suddenly, the dean of my major came in my room. I was terrified, because she just unlocked the door rather than knocking on it. At that moment, I closed my laptop quickly and used my clothes covering it. After the dean went out I found the screen of the laptop was cracked. As my earphones was caught in the laptop. I didn't dare to tell my parents, because that was a brand new laptop. So I had to save money to buy a new screen for this laptop. Actually, this screen cost me more than one thousand rmb. As a student, it cost me an arm and a leg, because I only had 1,500rmb as allowance. As a result, I had to find some part time jobs to afford the screen. Finally I saved up money for four months to buy it. I felt pretty happy because I thought I was toast for breaking the screen, but it ended up with earning enough money and making some new friends due to part time jobs.
