Yesterday afternoon Frank Hawkins was telling me about his experiences as a young man. Before he retired, Frank was the head of a very large business company, but as a boy he used to work in a small shop. It was his job to repair bicycles and at that time he used to work fourteen hours a day. He saved money for years and in 1958 he bought a small work-shop of his own. In his twenties, Frank used to make spare parts for aeroplanes. At that time he had two helpers. In a few years, the small work-shop had become a large factory which employed seven hundred and twenty-eight people. Frank smiled when he remembered his hard early years and the long road to success. He was still smiling when the door opened and his wife came in. She wanted him to repair their grandson's bicycle!

练习感悟：晚上看书到十一点半，早晨六点起。今天是立冬日，天气很冷，重庆这个地方冬天就是没有耀眼的太阳，虽然有一些冷，但是不像我的家乡那般冷得彻骨，这里工作学习没有问题，很舒适。习惯真的真的非常重要，每天重复相同的事，有的时候会有一点惰性，就如打开电脑在写课文日志，写小学生日记，没有打开电脑的时候，有点不想写，其实只要打开电脑的那一秒，一屁股坐在键盘前面，自然而然就写起来，很自然，也很喜欢写。就如每天学初级课程，routing!成了例行公事，什么都不想，拿起书就读。
