Running a Simulation ~Variable Selection

1.单击鼠标右键(或在颜色单元格中双击);
2.当出现菜单时,单击Set Line Color(设置线条颜色);
3.显示颜色图表,其中包含有当前的颜色。单击新颜色框选定新的颜色;

| OK Button(OK

2.单击New(新建)按钮。

Variable type(变量类型) Attribute(属性) Description(描述)
Est
Innov
Value
SSVal 稳态值。
Pred
Value
SSVal 稳态值。
Pred
Measured disturbance(测量干扰) Value 当前值。
Unmeasured disturbance(不可测量干扰) Value 当前值。
Economic function(经济函数) Value 当前值。
Optim

To change the color of individual lines, go to the table at the top of the plot and place the cursor in the color bar for the variable.
1.Click the right mouse button (or double-click in the color cell).
2.When the menu appears, click Set Line Color.
3.A color chart appears, with the current color outlined. Click in the color box for the new color.
4.Click the OK button on the bottom of the chart.
The plot line for the variable is displayed with the new color.
Variable Selection
A default selection of variable curves is displayed in the plot window. You can change this selection and create as many different selections as you need and store them in into different variable lists.
SMOCPro automatically generates one variable list for the main controller and one variable list for each sub-controller. These lists can be modified and new ones created. This helps in better visualization of the variables of interest.
The variable list drop-down menu lets you switch from one variable selection to another during the simulation.
To create or modify a variable list:
1.Select Variables… in the Simulation menu, or select Add New in the drop down menu in the tool bar.
Variable Selection Window Fields and Buttons

| Variable List Name| Select the variable list from the drop-down list.|
| ------------- |:-------------:| :-----:|
| New Button | Open the window used to enter a new variable list.|
| Delete Button| Delete the displayed variable list (only for user-defined lists).|
| Variable List Content| Select the variables to use in the list by clicking in the attribute check boxes.|
| OK Button| Save the modifications made to the lists.|
| Cancel Button| Cancel the modifications without saving.|
2.Click on the New button. The following box opens:
3.Enter a new variable name in the field.
4.Click the OK button.
For example, consider the previous example with all the variables in the plot. For ease of understanding, we desire to only plot the MVs/DV in the window. To this end, we follow the procedure outlined above and end up with the following plot:
The Variable List Contents has these attributes from which you can select.

Variable type Attribute Description
Process output Value Current value.
Est Estimate of the current value.
Innov Estimation error or innovation.
Controlled output SRH Set-range high limit.
SRL Set-range low limit.
Value Current value.
SSVal Steady state value.
Pred Prediction of future values.
Manipulated input SRH Set-range high limit.
SRL Set-range low limit.
Value Current value.
SSVal Steady state value.
Pred Prediction of future values.
Measured disturbance Value Current value.
Unmeasured disturbance Value Current value.
Economic function Value Current value.
Optim Optimum economic value

By default, the controller variable list has attributes of the economic functions and of the unmeasured disturbances selected. Also, any sub-controller variable list has attributes of its process outputs, controlled outputs, manipulated inputs and measured disturbances selected.
