Chapter 10 The truth turned clear

With hesitation, I stepped on the transferring button, having last few seconds. I knew I was still nostalgic for the Jurassic Period, so I turned back to have the last look, and I would say good bye to those giants forever. It was nearly sun-set, the color of the sun turned into flamboyant red, exactly resembled the color of blood. Several immature Ceratosauruses surrounded the corpse of their parent and roared with desperation and sadness. Those juniors couldn’t survive with the protection of a single parent, and I became the murder of the entire Ceratosaurus family. But I had to leave, to fight for justice as well as the safety of mankind.

“There must be plots and I knew it, this mysterious doctor must been doing something evil beyond the eyes of the public.” I thought during my time-travel home. Within a few seconds, I returned, sitting on the seat of the time machine with the helmet on my head. The laboratory was still in the black hue, this time I didn’t find it in a solemn way but somehow the opposite of light and hope, the color of darkness and desperation. I looked at my hands, the blood stains reminded me that the murder case wasn’t a dream. The evil doctor was busy working on somered liquid, seemed to extract some kind of serum from the liquid. A white towel with red blood lay on a side of the experiment table. The red color was tooconspicuous in the dark.

It was blood,the blood from my hand, the blood of the Ceratosaurus. I finally realized theugly truth: Dr. Mystery wasn’t just a famous scientist, but also the one whowanted to use his fame to attract children to go to the epoch of the dinosaurs inorder to kill those reptiles and collect their serum for him. I couldn’t standthis man sitting several meters away from me any longer. “He was a demon in a white cloak.” I told myself. “But what can he do with the serum?”
