Lesson 14 Do you speak English?

I had an amusing experience last year. After I had left a small village in the south of France, I drove on to the next town. On the way, a young man waved to me. I stopped and he asked me for a lift. As soon as he had got into the car, I said good morning to him in French and he replied in the same language. Apart from a few words, I do not know any French at all. Neither of us spoke during the journey. I had nearly reached the town,when the young man suddenly said,very slowly, ' Do you speak English？' As I soon learnt, he was English himself!

知识笔记：

1.朗读（L0）

特别注意了几个词的发音：

experience，france，language，soon（持续改正发音进行中，france的音标写的是/frα:ns/,但是音频里读的听上去是/fræns/的声音，今天没看懂，明天继续查）

特别注意的连读：

had an amusing,south of france,drove on to,neither of  us spoke,as I soon learnt（在群里听了一些发音，今天听到比较流畅的发音然后特别注意了一下，发现连贯主要是因为连读处理的好，自己在连读方面的知识需要尽快补充）

查了几个词的意思：

amusing，好玩的，有趣的；lift，便车；learnt，了解到

练习感悟：

群里今天S君问了个问题：大家朗读到现在的进步有多大？看到这个问题之前，我还在因为看不出最近两天的进步而有点反馈缺乏造成的焦虑，读文章也觉得有可以改进的地方但就是找不到是哪里改进。上午群里有人艾特我，一看可算有人给我提建议了，兴奋了一会儿点开一看，是被@Joy Song 河南 行政 表扬读得好，还是给了我一点安慰吧。后来S君提完问题，也有人反应现在进步很小，S说如果总是和近期比较，是难以看到大的进步的，和刚开始朗读的时候比一比，就能看到差距了。这话让我感觉没什么焦虑了，的确是这样的，进步是一个长期的过程，眼光要放长，积累的力量在长期上是很可观的。睡觉，形成新的生活作息时间很重要。一句话，就是干。
