GeoNet,第一个基于点云来为物体表面固有(Geodesic)结构建模的神经网络。研究人员提出了一种融合机制利用GeoNet与基础网络结合起来对点云进行分析。这篇文章提出了GeoNet来从点云数据中学习出表面拓扑形态的表示方法,并用测地线(geodesic)融合的方法对学习到的形态学特征进行分析和利用。(from UCLA Face++ 斯坦福 UIUC)
其中GeoNet,测地线邻域估计网络的结果如下图所示,基于自编码器抽取每点特征并利用测地线匹配来作为核函数,通过学习到的嵌入特征来估计测地线的邻域信息。GM层的中间特征包含了丰富的点云形态和表面信息。:
