Sharon patted her pocket and said that she had it right there. Andrew asked Sharon to show it to him. Sharon asked if he had fifty cents. Andrew patted his pocket and said they were right there. Sharon said she was not going to show it to him until he paid. Andrew shook his head and said that he wanted to see it first. Sharon said that she was sorry because a deal was a deal and then she opened a book and pretended to read. Miss Kelly said to Andrew if he can sit down, the second bell had just rung, that morning they would begin with arithmetic. She asked Nicky to pass out the yellow paper and told the children when they got their paper began working on the problems on the board. Andrew went to his seat. Then he took the tissue with the five dimes out of his pocket. He held it near the floor and aimed it toward Sharon. She sat in the next row. Sharon stuck out her foot and stepped on the tissue. Then she slid it over until she could reach it with her hand. She bend down and picked it up. Miss Kelly didn’t notice. Sharon counted the five dimes. Then she took a piece of folded-up white paper out of her pocket and threw it to Andrew.
