翻译的时候遇到一个词：micro-manager，老美常用来批评上司的一个字眼，形容一位上司事必躬亲，连一些鸡毛蒜皮的小事情他都要指导你如何完成。

然后在群策群力下，找到了一个传神的中译：

第一次遇到带数字的单词：catch-22，出自《二十二条军规》一书，一般都形容任何自相矛盾、不合逻辑的规定或条件所造成的无法摆脱的困境、难以逾越的障碍，表示人们处于左右为难的境地，或者是一件事陷入了死循环，或者跌进逻辑陷阱，等等。

A requirement that cannot be met until a prerequisite requirement is met, however, the prerequisite cannot be obtained until the original requirement is met.

前几天看新闻说希拉里拿下了波多黎各自由邦（Commonwealth of Puerto Rico）的31张选举人票（non-voting delegate），很好奇为什么美国的自由邦可以参与党派初选：

Territories of the United States are sub-national administrative divisions directly overseen by the United States federal government (unlike U.S. states, which share sovereignty with the federal government). The five major territories are self-governing with locally elected governors and territorial legislatures. 然后波多黎各自由邦的这位代表居然是美国众议院中唯一的一位 non-voting member，也是5个 Territories of the United States 中唯一可以委派众议院议员的，虽然没有投票权，但是可以参与委员会的相关工作也不错：
