Why is knowledge valuable

Truth is available to all who are willing to work to achieve it, but truth is certainly not commonly possessed by all and is no one's birth right.  Konwledge may have to work hard to discern it, but my effects will be rewarded. So everyone cherishes their knowledge.

“千淘万漉虽辛苦，吹尽狂沙始到金”。知识不是简简单单的信息叠加，它是在无数信息沙粒里面提炼出来的“金”。得来不易便弥足珍贵，所以知识分子往往尊重知识分子，因为他们互相理解他们获取知识的不易。正如农民知道劳动的辛苦，学生知道成绩的不易。
