外交部：“中国不是吓大的” ！
6月29日，美国国务卿蓬佩奥在美国国务院网站发表声明称，随着中国在香港推进国家安全立法，美将于当日结束美产国防设备对华出口，并将对出口香港的国防和军民两用技术施加与中国大陆同样的限制。同日，美国商务部亦就此发表声明，宣布取消对香港特殊相关待遇，包括暂停出口许可证豁免，并正在进行差别待遇评估。

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross said on 29 that U.S. Commerce Department's regulations giving preferential treatment to Hong Kong, including export license exceptions, have been suspended. In a statement, Ross said further actions to eliminate differential treatment for Hong Kong were also being evaluated.
对此，中国外交部发言人赵立坚在30日的例行记者会上予以回应。

赵立坚表示：“关于香港国家安全立法问题，中方已多次阐明严正立场。这一问题纯属中国内政，任何外国无权干涉。”

林郑月娥: 特区政府不会怕，早有心理准备
30日，针对美商务部称已取消对香港的特殊相关待遇，香港特别行政区行政长官林郑月娥回应称，任何制裁行动都不会吓怕特区政府，特区政府早有心理准备。相信在需要时国家会有反制措施，特区政府一定会全面配合。

她在行政会议前会见记者时还指出，特区政府评估美国制裁行动已久，因为有人时常乞求美国制裁香港，但评估结论是香港对相关产品用量不多，且有其他替代品，相关行业已大部分设于内地。相信对香港打造创科中心影响不大。
Chief Executive of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Carrie Lam said Tuesday that Hong Kong will not be frightened by any sanctions, in response to the U.S. revocation of Hong Kong's special status.
Lam told a press conference that Hong Kong has made preparations for the U.S. move and estimated that the trade restrictive measures will only cause a little inconvenience, stressing that the impact on Hong Kong's technological innovation sector will be limited.
