女性也可以很有趣！

A stand-up comedy show called Rock & Roast (《脱口秀大会》) has introduced us to many female comedians.Among them, Yang Limight be getting the most attention.

Many of her jokes are about the unfairness (不公) that women face in society . For example, why does Black Widow have the strangest superpower among the Avengers － she doesn’t grow old? Isn’t that just another expectation (期望) for a woman living in a man’s world ?

最近《脱口秀大会》里有很多女性表演者脱颖而出，杨笠作为其中的一员，赢得了大家的广泛关注。她的许多段子都是关于女性在社会中面临的不公的，例如，复联中黑寡妇为什么会有“不老”这种奇葩技能，这难道不是“男性社会”对女性的苛刻要求么？

Stand-up comedy has long been a man’s world. “Female comedians are judged (评判) more heavily on their material, also on their looks...

They also account for (占据) only around 10 percent of the industry (行业) (in the US),” according to the Independent. Since stand-up comedy is still quite new in China, the number might be even lower.

“ We’re hearing women so little ,” Yang told Huxiu News. “ We need more of them to share (分享) their voices .”

脱口秀长期以来一直以男性为主导。“对女性脱口秀演员的评价，更多地被外在的东西决定。比如：她们准备的话题甚至是她们的外表。

在美国，女脱口秀演员人数只占行业的10%。由于脱口秀在中国才刚刚兴起，这个比例可能更低。

“我们太少关注女性声音了，”杨笠说，“我们需要更多的女性发声者表达她们的想法。”

What is stand-up comedy?

Stand-up comedy first became popular in Europe and North America in the 1800s. A comedian writes his or her own jokes and tells them on stage (舞台) – one person with one microphone. They usually perform (表演) in bars and cafes, with the most successful comedians performing in theaters. Their jokes usually come from their own experiences, feelings and thoughts.
19世纪，脱口秀首先在欧洲和北美流行起来。脱口秀演员自己写段子并在酒吧和咖啡馆等地表演，成功的演员们才可以在剧场演出。他们的段子通常来自自身经历、对生活的感受和想法。
